BIOBLITZ Central Park BioBlitz 2006 Speakers and Sponsors The 2006 Central Park BioBlitz was launched with an opening ceremony held at the Dana Discovery Center in New York City's Central Park at 12:00noon, June 23. Speakers included the eminent biologist Dr. Edward O. Wilson, President Daniel A. Bennett of The Explorers Club, New York City Parks Commissioner Adrian Benepe, and other special guests.
